Fat Belly Begone! Tips to Lose the Belly Fat

ADVERTISING

I was walking down the street the other day when I heard some teenage guy whisper something to his friend and they both laughed. They were commenting over another woman’s fat belly and calling her muffin top. I wish I had the courage to slap them silly, but instead I started fretting about my own not so slim stomach.

So I decided that over one month I would try out some simple ideas to help get rid of my wobbly tummy to see if I too could get a nice slim stomach. Here is what I tried:

1. Breathing during my Ab Exercises

I started doing some simple Ab exercises at home when I had some spare time. It was often five minutes here, two minutes there (often in the ad breaks of my favorite tv shows). While doing the exercises I was very mindful of my breath as it can help make your exercises safer and also (my main reason) stop my muscles hurting so much the next day.

So what you need to do is exhale while you contract your muscles and inhale as you release.

2. Get a Stability Ball

Ab exercises have been shown to be 38% more effective on a stability ball than on the floor. Most stability balls are very inexpensive so pick one up at your bargain department store next time you are shopping.

By doing crunches and Ab workouts on a stability ball, you’ll lose the belly fat in record time.

3. Eat more whole grains

Swapping the white bread and rice for whole grain versions was one of the easiest changes I could make to my diet. And the changes to my body were incredible.

And it isn’t just me that knows this secret; American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that dieters who ate whole grains lost far more belly fat than those that just cut calories, so there has to be something said for good carbs!

By the end of the month, my belly fat really had disappeared and all I did was make some simple changes to my lifestyle. If you want to get rid of your fat belly then start making small changes starting today – you too can have flat abs by next month.
