Do you remember that scene in James Bond where Halle Berry comes out of the ocean in an orange bikini with the flattest abs you have ever seen? Boy was I jealous when I saw her. I wanted that flat stomach too and so over the course of one month I decided that I would make some small changes to see if I could get my belly looking great.
Here is what I did and how you can do it too:
1. Drink More Water
Not only will water fill you up so that you are not hungry as often (many times people think they are hungry when they are actually thirsty), drinking lots of water will help food and waste move through your intestines quicker. This helps avoid constipation and bloating and can make your belly look much slimmer immediately.
2. Apply lotion to your skin
Many cellulite products can be used all over the body, so don’t just rub it on your thighs and buns. Look for a product that contains caffeine as that can help tighten and smooth the skin. Plus the daily massage while you are applying the lotion to your stomach can help break up any excess fat as well.
3. Try Weights
We’ve all heard that muscle burns more calories than fat, because it’s true! By adding strength exercises into your routine you’ll tone up all over including your stomach. The University of Pennsylvannia in Philadelphia did a study that proved that women who did strength training lost far more belly fat than those that just did cardio.
Making small changes to your lifestyle really can create a dramatic difference to how you look. Just making a few small changes and watching what I ate I was able to get a flatter looking stomach in just one month. In fact I started to see a change in just one week, and you can too.
