1. Whole wheat bread
2. Tuna
3. Any and all fruits that are in season
4. Any and all vegetables that are in season
5. 8 oz. steak
6. Two chicken breasts
7. Salad vegetables
8. Balsamic vinegar
9. Special K Cereal
10. Low fat milk
11. Brown rice
12. Instant oatmeal (not the sweetened packaged kind though)
13. Sliced turkey breast
14. 3 servings of fish
15. Low fat yogurt
16. Eggs

You can eat any of these foods at any time and in whatever combination you like during your one week drop 6 pounds diet, so it pays to be a bit creative with your recipes.

Exercise is the next key to making this plan work. You need to get in at least 10,000 steps a day. Get yourself a pedometer to count your steps for you. You can also:

1. Find the furtherest park from the store or your work and take that one. Always be mindful of safety however.
2. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. If you work at the top of a building and don’t fancy walking 10 flights of stairs, then just get the elevator a floor or two below yours and walk the rest of the way.
3. When you have to contact a colleague at work, walk over to their office or desk.
4. If you take the bus or other form of mass transportation, get off a stop or two early and walk.
5. Walk the dog. If you don’t have a dog, pretend that you do and go for a walk anyway.
6. Take a walk before dinner. It doesn’t have to be a long walk, just around the block is fine. This will help you to get more movement in and also has been known to reduce your appetite.

Lastly you need to keep yourself hydrated. Try and drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. Water will help keep your metabolism running efficiently so you’ll drop the weight faster.

This is not a plan that you should try for any longer than a week, but as you can see it really is possible to lose six pounds the quickest way to lose weight by adjusting what you eat, drinking lots of water and walking for exercise.
